Arai GP7 FIA 8859 Helmet / Schroth FHR HANS Device Package NORMALLY $1879.95
The successor of the respected GP-6 series, the longest running and most successful Arai GP model, the new GP-7 model is now available.
It conforms to the new Snell SA2020 standard as well as the FIA 8859-2015 homologation. A Complex Laminate Construction with Arai’s proprietary Peripheral Belt for additional reinforcement has been used, giving the best characteristics for the shell’s glancing off ability.
The round, smooth and strong outer shell is a feature every Arai possesses. The ability to glance off energy works together in conjunction with the helmet’s absorption ability to maximize gains in protection.Impact energy that does not come into the helmet does not have to be managed. That leaves more of the helmet’s energy absorbing liner to manage what impact energy does make it into the helmet.
* The GP-7 replaces both the GP-6S and GP-6PED models.
However, as the GP-7 is not currently available in XL, the GP-6S XL will continue to be produced.
